Tomorrow isn't fine- poem

Tomorrow is a wonderful day,
Tomorrow will be fine,
There are so many wonders
Waiting to be revealed,
All the good times and
Rainbows are yet to come,
Tomorrow shall be mine.
Tomorrow, tomorrow,
God given tomorrow,
Will put an end to all
My treacherous sorrow.

Yeh, but.......
What about the day after?
The week end, The next month,
The new year, a decade later?
What if it wouldn't turn out
Like I want it to?
May be a nightmare, a blood splatter,
Insignificant like a mindless chatter.
Or even catch a flu?

Is tomorrow ever fine?
May be, the optimistic halo
"Happily ever after",
Is a overrated lie,
And painfully shallow,
The ignorant hope,
We unquestionably muster,
In reality
Will leave us flustered.

May be,
Every Heart break,
And love,
Pain and pleasure,
Every loss and gain
Are not evil nor good,
Rather flavors ushered,
In proportional measures,
For life to have a blissful taste,
And distinct leisures.

Give me something to boast about- poetry

Give me something to boast about,
Can't you see that's what I want, Something to clear off insecurities,
Walk with head held high, Something to proudly talk about in gettogethers,
Make them gasp,
Something that stops me from looking down every time I meet an eye,
Let them look up,
Something that convinces me there is meaning to all this charade called life,
So that I want to wake up next time,
Something materialistic, something superficial, something shiny, something that shouts hierarchy.
Heck, I will even take moral superiority,
Something that throws spotlight at me.
So my optimistic human side, gains power over the rebellious cynic with the crown called pride.
Let it run over any question unanswerable, unfavorable.
Let pride blind me, let pride spoil me, let pride save me.
Let it cloak me with deluded self importance and self love.
Give me something to boast about.

Vyapam scam- all you need to know

"Vyapam" ( Vyavsayik Pa riksha Mandal), is a autonomous body garnered with the  responsibility of conducting entrance exams in Madhya Pradesh.

The exams are held for admissions in to colleges in the state and recruitment for government jobs.

The Vyapam scam is irregularities in the admission procedures in a number of entrances examinations conducted by the Vyapam.

Undeserving candidates bribe politicians and officials through middlemen to get high ranks.

The scam involved 13 different exams conducted for selection to various colleges and jobs.

Impersonation, Copying, manipulation of records and answer sheets, leaking the answer key were the methods employed.

Though many complaints of foul play have been reported since the mid-1990s, the first FIR was filed only in 2000.

In 2009 when police were tipped off about irregularities in a premedical entrance.

They realized cases were not singular but were part of a organized crime racquet.

A committee was formed to investigate the crime, which led to imprisonment of 100's by 2011.

On 13 July 2013, Jagdish Sagar the leader of the scam was arrested in Mumbai.

Later the involvement of former MPPEB  (Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination) board chairman Pankaj Trivedi was found.

Along with former BJP minister Laxmikant Sharma 1000's of parents, students and impersonators were arrested.

Questions have also been raised over the involvement of the Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav.

Suspicious deaths have further complicated the investigation, since 42 people involved in the scam have died.

With the scam pointing out the corruption within the highest bodies of the government

It becomes yet another example as to why common people can't trust politicians and officials.

Bhutan- carbon negative

Kingdom of bhutan, is a landlocked country in south Asia at the eastern end of the Himalayas.

It is sandwiched between two political giants and rivals India and China.

Since it's small and non controversial, it is often overlooked by the international community.

But the country of about 750,000 keeps making the world take notice of it again and again.

Bhutan is South Asia's happiest country.

Which is not surprising since its the one country that uses Gross Happiness Index to measure its growth.

But now Bhutan is in the news for different reasons, it became the world's first carbon negative country.

This means the country’s  forests and trees absorb more carbon dioxide each year than it produces.

According to numbers the country emits around 1.5 million tonnes of carbon annually, while its forests absorb over 6 million tonnes.

The achievement is due to  Bhutan's strong environment protection policies.

72% of the country is still forested, and it's constitution guarantees at least 60% will remain that way.

Last June, a team of 100 volunteers  for planting 49,672 trees in just one hour setting a new world record.

Even this march 82,000 households planted a tree to celebrate the birth of Queen's first child.

Bhutan has already shown us a way on how to halt global warming, but are we ready to listen?

MGNREGA

MGNREGA

It is a rural employment program started by the government of India.

It was started in 2005, covered 200 districts in 2006, and by 2008 it covered all villages.

It was initially named as National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, then it was changed to Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.

It is hailed as the largest social security and public works program in the world.

Its objective is to provide at least 100 days of paid employment to a rural adult in each household.

And it is completely implemented by gram panchayaths, no contractors are used.

Every applicant who volunteers for the program should be given a job within 5 km of his house.

The applicant will work on creating durable assets such as roads, canals, ponds...

If work is not provided within 15 days of applying then he/she is entitled to an unemployment allowance.

Maharashtra under former Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik was the first to start such a scheme in 1970.

It was later taken up by the planning commission and made a national wide program.

The present Act is an integration of several such programs like the Employment Assurance Scheme from the 1970s'.

But corruption and politics have have dimmed it's magnificence, in 2014-15, only 28% of the payments were made on time.

But its largely a success story, that has raised minimal wages, started 12 crore jobs, and completed 14.6 million projects.

Apart from providing economic security and creating rural assets, it has helped in protecting the environment and empowering women.

World Bank called MGNREGA a "stellar example of rural development", and we agree wholeheartedly.

Tuberculosis

The white old man tuberculosis, a "myco" bacteria clearly a racist by the way he sticks to the tropics.

Occupies your lungs without an invitation.

He rides mucus the sputum,  from noses to noses or mouths to mouths for recreation.

He converts them tissues in to curdy white cheese, by a process called calcification.

And he is bound to take a very long if not an indefinite lease, irregularly or in continuation. (Chronic)

He puts at least 5 lakhs (India) to external sleep, still the biggest killer since his coronation.

The old white man will make you cough your eyes out, burn with high fever.

Make you spit blood from your mouth (hemoptysis), loose weight and quiver.

You can try crying a river, but once he is set, he will not stop until everything he gets.

He can reach your gut, your brain, your spine, even your liver, he casts a wide net.

HIV and Smoke are two of his special hope, each pulls him in with a tight rope.

The white old man is certainly dope, but even he has enemies that will melt him like pears soap.

Rifampisin, Streptomycin, to name a few, can eat him up without a clue.

DOTS is a regimen that makes sure Rifampisin and his buddies are taken without fail, so TB gets cut off in its tail.

Remember the old white man may be gruesome and deadly, but he can be warted off or thrown out abruptly.

Porn industry

Though most men and some women (increasing number) watch porn, we have to agree there are a couple of majour problems in it.
1) It allows women and children to be trafficked and forced in (they are literally kidnapped and raped). Now this can be curtailed if government actually acknowledges such an industry exist and appoints a regulatory body that prohibits such activities, takes criminal action against them, make the production companies accountable for such incidents. If government turns a blind eye to porn itself how can it regulate it?.      It shld also Consider the people in the industry as normal working people not as social outcasts, so the ones who do it volunteerly and the ones who want to come out, do not do get stigmatized and discriminated, and their condition used against them.

2) Objectification of women. I think though both men and women show of their bodies and are sorta objectified, it is the women who bears the brunt more since, most porn are just men's brutal sexual fantasies, this can be solved if  women decide to make their our brand of erotica, create stuff that actually aroses them, homosexual men and women have their brand of porn why not heterosexual women?.
Instead of acting like such a thing dosent exist (sex is probably the oldest human tradition!), it is necessary to have open conversations to solve problems.

Figurative box

Collect all the opinions, beliefs, fears, or cravings (lets call em beans) you hold,
In a figurative box,
Number the beans or name them, or colour them, to tell them apart, like you would on a door,
Empty the box,
Spill them on a figurative floor,
Fasten your socks,
Its time to put them like they were before,
But as you pick each one up,
Inspect them closely,
Does that bean really fit in?,
Were you the one who put them
Inside,
Or were they always there,
Are there facts to back it up,
Is it a proven stereotype that you should bear,
Or is it one of those countless prejudices that lingers everywhere,
Would you believe it if your weren't born in to it?,
Is this dream really your own?,
Or by everyone else sown,
Is your fear really justified,
Are your cravings only to boast,
This way,
Many a bean shall be nullified,
Now your box will be lighter, it will float.

The Terrorist

When one whispers "terrorist",
What materializes
In to our heads,
Is men with cold, cold laughs,
Blood thirsty eyes,
The AK47s, bullets, making their beds,
Strapped rifles decorating their torsos,
Grenades, rage, hatred, and violence,
Tyrants,
Adhering to thickest mist, tallest trees, driest deserts and the most turbulent seas,
And so it goes.

What is ignored,
Or is never explored,
Is the centuries of oppression,  Colossal weights,
Thrusted over their heads,
That led to these high pressured
Volcanic eruptions.

The voices that were thrown
In to sound proof rooms,
Buried in sands of neglect,
Suppressed, denied, muffled,
Forced to explode in to booms.

Their empty bellies,
Milkless cattle,
Burned out fields,
Cracked tongues,
Trust broken to peels,
That made them easy
Recruitment deals.

Rebellious youth yearning for
Change,
Some jobless,  some homeless,
Some aimless,  some nameless,
Searching for answers,
Taking one last leap of faith,
At misguided ideologies.

Places of agitation,
Viewed as political trump cards
Rather than displeased inhabitants,
People with needs, emotions, And families.

Populace stabbed by policies
That favor popularity over
Humanity,
Economic development over the
Survival of minorities,
Making living hard, and dying easy.

Terrorists are destructive Vibrations,
But they spread from roots of Injustice,
We have chosen to bomb these agitations,
Which are merely ripples,
The last disorderly cry for help,
And curse their
Epicenters (the terror outfits and their ideologies),
Which are just guises.
It is their hypocenters
(Reason for them to exist),

Love is one big fucking paradox

Love is never unconditional, Neither the romantic nor the familial,
Neither the religious nor the patriotic (both delusional, held in by fear poetry and wonder),
Love is for the pretty face, symmetry,
Love is because you love them back,
Love is because your shape cries healthy and most suited to bear their kids (unconsciously) i.e hot *steam engines*,
Love is because your dad is rich, or you are egoistic, opportunistic and well capitalistic, i.e rich and powerful,
Love is stays since you are as loyal as a dog,
Love happen as you are kind and compassionate, i.e safe and likable (non threatening),
Love is inevitable as they made you, and they have no other way,
Love is because your inability fuels their engine which has to be needed.
Love is an evolutionary and social construct that is essential for genetic materials to survive,
Love is only when you uphold their status in the society,
Love is an obsessive attachment,
Or merely an impractical idea,
Love dies when you don't meet expectations,
Love sometimes is just another word for codependency,
Love is selfish.
But,
Love can be selfless,
Love can make one die for it, Love can exist even when not loved back,
Love prevails even when you grow old,
Love doesn't always disappear when you can't give them kids,
Love can happen even if you don't share genetic material,
Love doesn't always crave loyalty or sincerity,
Love is rebellious,
Love is subjective,
Love is an elusive, controversial,  cheat,
Love sure is impractical and Unpredictable,
Love is one big fucking paradox.

Why we exist

Usually what theist argue as proof for existence of god is how intricately and precisely designed, everything in the universe is.

For example - The availability of a complicated pumping system, the human heart,  A multitasking super computer, the brain,  and various other factors, like being endowed with all the essential number of muscles and nerves. It all seems like  intellegent design, like how a mechanic designes a car, and even the accuracy of the laws of nature (a small change in gravitational force would cause the collapse of the universe), have also been used to support for their cause, how did something as complicated as the universe, that has millions of probabilities of going wrong, from its creation till now working without an all powerful entity?,  is their question.

People like Richard Dawkins have argued that, only because these seemingly "perfect" situations exist,  we do,  it makes perfect sense.

For example.

An algae cannot grow if there is no moisture.

We would not have existed if there was no oxygen or water or carbon were already here.

They were not put here for us, we exist because they are here. If there weren't here, some other species might have evolved or earth would have remained barren like mars or Venus.

If it is all intelligent design why are there defects in babies,  if it is intelligent design then all the babies would be checked and tested before they are sent to this world, like how we check our cars.

We exist, because we have all necessary conditions for us to exist, not the other way around. There were millions of species which have failed to survive, because they weren't good enough to survive here.  In the same way there might have been millions of failed planets, failed galaxies, failed universes and failed big bang, but we don't know because we weren't there. We are just a probability of some mysterious event, which also has multiple other probabilities, which caused many random probable sequences, not because of an all powerful organism living in the clouds. .

Ringing bell stop taking orders (freedom 251)

The new "Make In India",  flagship phone which is the priced at Rs. 251,  took the world by storm, as it had received an overwhelming response of about 6 lakhs requests in a second, so overwhelming that the company had to close its page for the next 24 hours. Don't lose you hearts because there is still hope for us who have not been able to buy it,  as they have taken this little hiatus with the sole purpose of upgrading their system, to allow more traffic.

The newshour debate by Arnab Goswami

Newshour debate airs on Timesnow, this particular debate was on the subject of JNU student's anti national statements, and being unfamiliar to Arnab's hosting methods, I was in the for a big shock, because the whole episode was not a debate, it was an angry man shouting at the students without asking for any explanation (reminds me of my student days), actually he did ask for explanations,  he just didn't let them explain.

For instance
In the first minute Arnab asks Mr. Lenin of the  DSU (democratic students union) to speak, the second he starts talking, he was interrupted by Arnab who went on a 5 minute rant on how they (students of JNU) were neither democratic nor leftist, the DSU leader did try to explain something, I just couldn't hear anything admits all the noise that Arnab was making, then he asked a BJP member, Ms. Nupul, to speak, she was't interrupted for a minute,  I thought Arnab being biased on the issue would at least let her talk, as BJP had similar opinions as his,  but I wrong,  he went on a similar rant cussing the JNU students for another 5 minutes, calling them anti National and terrorist, and this went on till the end of the show, he would ask someone to speak,  give them a false hope and gobble it under their throat, there were certain parts in the show where everyone kept shouting their side of the story (think of 8 of them shouting different things all at once) it was a disaster, and I thought he was being particularly aggressive against a Muslim JNU student Umar, who was with him in the studio, when the show was over, I was irritated, angry and had learned nothing new.

So I decided to send a dissent tweet expressing my dissatisfaction on twitter, but he is not on twitter. So I thought I would at lest make a blog post out of it.

Indian reservations

It's about time we did our reservations based on some other criteria, though it sounds similar to most right wing lunatics, misinformed general category citizens, my reasons are different, its not because it gives them an "unfair" advantage, as that is the whole point of reservations, is to give them a head start, to give them a walking stick to balance themselves as centuries old system of discrimination has visibly lamed them, so it is not in anyway unfair, but dosen't reservation based on castes propagate castes, the system that put them there in the first place?.

If the whole idea of the reservations is to try to erase their economical, cultural, and social disadvantages, can't they be based on those criteria alone, for eg: 1)people from poor background, 2) people living in slums, 3) people with illitrate parents, people having all three criteria as the most underdeveloped and with one of these as comparitively underdeveloped, this will include all the people from the castes, who need real help, we are not taking away their reservations just scrubbing out the dirty caste identity, that the unfair system had previously given them. So there is no way racist and castist elements to distinguish us, we all become more closer.

There will still be people crying unfair, but atleast we will have with us an resonable argument and statistics, as to why it is done and how it will improve them, not just references to history.

Governments should also stop giving caste and community certificates,  it actually makes an unfair system look official, and communities and castes are personal preferences, why install them in to governments? (We are supposed to be secular ), and should also raise taxes monstrously for matrimonial organization, that provide caste based martial services. If we want to destroy the system effectively, we should actively try to destroy it.

Story of the Indian currency - The  Indian rupee.

Today money is everything, it is this Indian rupee which  determines who gets to rule, who gets to survive in India, but do we really know it's history?, it's significance?, reason for its existence?, I am here to tell you that, so let me take you on a journey just sit back and read.

Where does it get its name?
The word  Rupee comes from the Sanskrit word
Rupya meaning wrought silver.

The evolution

Before the British Colonial era.
India is a very old civilization, many mediums of exchanges have prevailed here before the "modern" rupee came in to being. One of them was the barter system, the problem with the barter system was that all the goods were not in demand in all seasons, for example - tomatoes were only in demand in summer season so the tomato farmers could  eat their stomach full only during that season. So other mediums like peppers, rice, cows and gold replaced it, gold being one of the most widely and universally used currency before the coins showed up.
The use of coins as a medium of exchange is considered to have come in to being in India around fifth century BC, in Dwaraka at least that is the oldest know evidence we have. Then Greeks invaded us, gave a unique square shape  and animal symbolism to our coins, though the square shape soon got left behind, but animal symbols stuck, significant roles were also played by Mauriya dynasty in giving denomination to the coins,
they made copper, silver, gold coins. The first king to have engraved dates on the coins was the Muhal emperor Akbar,  these were called Alf coins.

During the British Colonial era-

The British introduced paper currency in the country during the middle of the 19 th century (1861), Bank of Hindusthan which was the first bank to be created in India issued these notes.
The values of the denomination of the rupee during British rule were:

1 rupee = 16 anna
1 ardharupee = 8 anna,
1 pavala = 4 anna, or ¼ rupee
1 beda = 2 anna,
1 anna = 1⁄16 rupee.
There were also many variations of the Indian rupee that existed during the sane time like the Danish rupee, the French rupee, the Hyderabad rupee.

Post Independence.
All the annas and andharupee were stripped off and each rupee was divided in to 100 paisa. Notes in circulation come in denominations of ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10, ₹20, ₹50,₹100, ₹500 and ₹1000. Rupee coins  available in denominations of ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10.

Countries which use Indian rupee.

Previously the Indian rupee was an official currency of other countries,                                                 including Aden, Oman, Dubai, Bahrain, the Uganda, Kenya the Seychelles and Mauritius etc....But soon the countries replaced it with their own currency during the later periods of 20th century. Now it's still an official currency in Bhutan.

Design.
Currency notes are printed at the Currency Note Press in Nashik. The Indian currency has 17 of the official Indian languages in it's notes. The notes now in use called Mahatma Gandhi series of notes have an image of mahatma Gandhi in it. The symbol (₹)
designed by Mr. Udaya Kumar  Dharmalingam is the official symbol of indian , which has its origins from the devanagari script. They were made with paper but the bank had rolled 10 crore 10 rupee notes made by polymer which is said to last longer and difficult to counterfeit.

Fleeing battles

All those weird sounds

Praveen has been having some odd experiences today "Mom, this house is haunted".
"Why do you keep saying that since you woke up?, this house is not haunted" assured Raji his mother, who looked tired most of the time these days, as she had been working twice as hard to keep the family afloat since his dad left.
"No, it is ", "I can feel them, I can even hear them" insisted Praveen.

"What has suddenly gotten in to you" enquired his mother "You are 13 now, and you are old enough to  know quite well there are no such things called ghosts, eat your breakfast soon, I will have to drop you in school and get to my office by 9 am".

He knew she would not believe if he told her that he had seen his pillow moving in the air, and then sounds of people conversing in the hall about a cricket match, he even heard a baby cry a few times, right besides him in the bed. So he decided it's better to keep mouth closed, may be he was imagining things, he thought to himself.

"Mommmm..... " screamed Praveen while his mother was cleaning the dishes, "Mom, today is Monday this is not Monday's uniform!, where is the other pair",
his mother got red with shame that she had forgotten and hesitantly pointed to the cupboard "sorry dear, I had forgotten to iron them, you will have to make do with this somehow".

"Okey, but just today", nodding with a stern look on his face, Praveen understood,  how difficult it has been for his mother so he had already decided to make her life easier in every little way he could.

"Praveen, Praveen, get up it's time for you to go to school" said Raji "it's 7 already,  I have to be in my office by nine".

When his mother left the room, he heard a girl shouting, "mother you only care about him, you have no care for me at all", and then an elderly women's voice replied "O darling, I love you, but he is just a baby he cannot take care of himself", Praveen alarmed, looked around the room, then outside his window, the sounds seemed like they definitely came from inside of his room, he shivered at the thought of what he had just witnessed and rushed away from his room.

"Mom, I have been hearing strange noises today" said Praveen during breakfast. But his mother  was not listening she was busy ironing his Monday dress which she had forgotten to iron yesterday.

"Mom, mom, what are you doing  it's 7.30, you should  be the one waking me up", shaking his mother's shoulders, his mother Raji slowly gaining consciousness from her dream state whispered in surprise "what it's 7.30 already! ", sprinted off the bed in seconds. picked up a brush and started brushing and simultaneously heated the pan over the stove,  "shit, it's Monday, I have this important meeting at 9.15" she screamed knocking her head with a brush.

"Praveen, wake up, I have made poories and chana Masala  today, your favorite, and don't  forget to wear your Monday uniforms I have them ready too".

When Praveen went to the bath room, he heard a flushing sound, but he hadn't flushed the toilet, then a man's voice boomed right outside the bathroom door "who had left the tap open".

Praveen opened the cupboard to look for his unicorn when he heard chorus screams, a young female's voice exclaimed "look, it's opening by itself", praveen was alarmed, but there was no one around then a male voice whispered "it must be them, this has got to end today, I will call the Father, you call the previous owner". Scared Praveen ran to look for his mother, but she was busy getting the food ready so he restrained himself from complaining.

At the breakfast table Praveen muttered "don't you think something weird is going on", "what weird things?" questioned his mother curiously,
"I feel like there are people around  me, standing right beside me and talking".
" ha ha ha really funny, stop making  things up, we have no time for this now"

When they were about to go out of the house to the car, a loud deep voice beamed "Mrs. Raji, Mrs. Raji", it came from within the house, but they were the only ones there, Raji was in shock, but she answered back cautiously, in a very low tone " who is this?, what are you doing in our house?". But all they heard was
"I think  I am getting some kind of a connection", it seemed like the deep voice was addressing someone else, it spoke again "everyone hold your hands tight", both Praveen and Raji were shaking, Raji looked at Praveen who had a I told you so look on his face, which was imposed over terror.

"Mom look" Praveen pointed at the door with a sudden jerk, a translucent image of a man with golden red robes with a rosary in one hand and a hammer in the other hand started appearing, he was not looking at them but at the dinner table, the room started dimming and images of 4-5 people holding their hands appeared, they were shitting n chairs around the table, and like the man with the golden robes they seemed be getting clearer with time, a single candle was lit on the table was their only source of light now. Praveen held his mothers hand tight as she looked on with jitters.

"Can you hear me mrs.Raji? " questioned the man with the golden robes, "hear you I can see you" replies Raji and "please leave us alone, what did we do to you?".

"please mam, it's time for you to pass on" said the man "you should leave the family alone, they have young children, didn't you have a son too".

Raji got less scared now and more confused "I still have him, he is right beside me, what do you what?, I can't leave the house, this is my house, you should all get out now?".

"Raji" someone spoke from the table, this voice was trembling? It sounded like the person was crying, "it's Suresh, it's me Suresh".

Raji froze when she heard his voice, it was Suresh was her ex- husband, who left her for his secretary, his voice brought back all the painful memories of the messy divorce, "Suresh, what are you doing here, what kind of a sick joke is this".

On hearing her voice he started crying harder " Raji, it is you, it is really you, is Praveen with you too, I miss you both so much, I am so sorry" and  gave out a very painful growl, cleared his throat and started speaking again, " if I hadn't left you none of this would have happened, it is all my fault".

" What is you're fault Suresh" Raji questioned with all the anger towards him, replaced by sympathy now, "we are doing fine".

Suresh questioned "Raji don't you remember the accident?, don't you know what happened to you on 12th June 2010.

"Today is 12th June 2010" Raji snapped, "what are you even trying to say".

"Raji today is 20th January 2016,
you and Paveen, both died on 12 th June 2010, it was a monday morning and you were driving him to school, the doctors told me, both you died before you were brought in to the hospital".

Nothing to say

I do feel,
Like I can feel,
I just don't know
What I feel,
There is just
Too many  layers
To peel,
Like  paragraphs
With no punctuations,
Products with no specifications,
They all get crowded,
Too soon, gang up,
In this itsy bitsy room,
Tangled to wrangle in,
Straggling way,
Mangling my brain,
All my feelings
Bleed away,
Leaving me with nothing
To say,
But empty words, barely appropriate
Cliche.

Evolution of fast food in United States of America.

1) What does  fast food really mean?

Fast food is the kinda of food that is readily available i.e food that has precooked or preheated ingredients, like burgers, french fries etc...

2) To the beginning

We have to know where it all began, so let's you pass through the time machine to discover it origins, though America is always accused of having started this culture, it all seemed to have its roots in early Rome which used to have many road side stalls serving bread and wine, and some sausages this made for an easy morning breakfast for most of it's inhabitants.

3)  White Castle

Remember Harold and Kumar go to White Castel, White Castle is credited to have started the second fast food restaurant and the first burger ever which were all intially drive in restaurants, as the business started picking up competition picked up as well.

Now it is a billion dollar industry with players like McDonald's, Papa John's , Domino's Pizza , Sbarro and Pizza, Burger King, Kfc, Subway having thousands of branches all over the world.

In the United States alone people spent $160 billion on these food just in 2012,
with the whole restaurant industry bringing in 660 million dollars the fast food chains make up 1/5 of the market share, these  restaurants provide jobs to 4.1 of her citizens. The cost of these foods is also very low because they use heavily subsidized products like beef, corn and soy sauce and hence the wide attraction.

Illusion of reality

When you make stuff up,
All your life,
To amuse,
To be amused,
Interact, entertaining,
Relate,
To give an idea a form,
You lose the distinction,
Between a lie and truth,
Illusion seem more real
Than the reality.

Dark memories

I hope, I wish,
I could lie myself,
In to believing,
I was never that,
Culture my past In a petri dish,
Change all my regrets,
Just Inject and set.

It all seems like it was Yesterday,
Wait, was it yesterday?
I thought it was fun,
Nice and real,
But, it all looks so sinister now,
A cruel ordeal,
Since then,
I don't even know how
To blink, think,
To even talk,
I rather not,
So it doesn't come
Back to haunt me,
Like tiny pebbles in my Sock.

All you memories,
I don't need you please,
This little demon,
In my head,
Gets to dissect all my deeds,
With microscopic eyes,
Shuffling through,
To find a worthy "vice",
"You were wrong there,
There too impolite,
You don't really care,
Did you have to fight You are a monster,
A Monster, monster A parasite?".
This is already tough
Life is already a strife,
I don't need a tiny Little judge,
Poking with a knife,
I will not feed him anymore,
No memories I will make,
Nothing with people,
Nothing he can devour.

the calls

"This is the 45th call this month, its been just a couple of months since I bought this SIM card and from then I have started getting these mysterious calls, from the same number, the guy calls me never talks, just keeps breathing on the other side till I cut the connection, the calls are getting more and more frequent too!", exclaimed Abdul to his friend, abruptly thrusting his phone in front of his friend Dhilip's face to get his attention.
"Gosh, that is mysterious" said his friend Dhilip trying to accommodate his sight to the short distance. "may be you have a secret admirer, a girl must have a crush on you and is too shy to tell you".
Abdul blushing, brushed off the idea, "no way man, can't you be serious for once?, I am not in the mood for jokes".
"Okay, then tough guy , why don't you call the person back, we will find out for certain who the caller is?" Suggested Dhilip.
"Do you think I am stupid, of course I have tried calling, but no one picks up, but I will try again just because you want me to",  Abdul called the number, with every ring poking his head with ideas of who it might be, no one picked up like he predicted, Frustrated, he tried again, still no answer, he called again, and again no answer "see I told you no one is answering, I am gonna throw this SIM card away get a new number, this whole incident is scary".
After a few minutes, the mobile phone rang, Abdul's adrenalin peaked when he noticed it was the same number, he attended it, expecting no one to talk, But a meek female voice said hello, Abdul spoke back " who is this, what is your problem?, your calls have been disturbing me....", he went on a rampage over the phone,  " hello" the voice said again but was more clear, and seemed like a old women's voice, " I am sorry, my granddaughter must have mistakenly called you", "Does she make mistakes 100 times!, and i have been trying to call you, why didn't anyone pick up before?", "listen here boy, don't talk to me like you are my boss, I will cut the damn call, to answer your question, my granddaughter is autistic, and this is her personal phone, her life is difficult as it is don't complicate it, but I don't know why she has been calling you, she hardly calls, could you  tell me your number",  Abdul wanted to say just look at the mobile screen, but couldn't as he was in shock and didn't want another lesson in politeness, " its 97989" the old women interfered "57589". "Yes, that is my number", confirmed Abdul, everyone was silent for a few seconds, then the women spoke "sorry, that used to be her father's number, he has been missing for sometime".

The four head's

The four heads,
The four heads,
The four heads,
they spin,
The four heads,
The four heads,
The four heads,
within,
In Unpredictable speeds.

The one head,
The longest,
The very last to fall,
It's a pre written Book,
You'll be hardly appalled,
Most times it's boring,
Sometimes it's sweet,
Jargon and jargon,
Rest safety and needs,
The stablest of them all.

The next head
Is not up there,
It's you know where,
Under layers of inner wear,
Starts with pleasure
Ends in guilt,
Grows with dirt,
It's a necessary filth,
Rabid eyes and an open mouth,
Fantasising, romanticising,
Dreaming and plotting,
Staring and spotting,
Ever ready to answer
A desperate maiden's call.

The third head the lightest,
The brightest of all,
The real dreamer,
The thinker, a stall
full of bouncing balls,
It drinks in water,
Tries to spray out the rain,
The optimist, the wanna be,
A maker in pain,
It has to satisfy the itch.

The fourth head the darkest,
Designed like a maize,
As you wander in,
You get lost without trace,
It keeps throwing rocks,
To keep you down,
Controls your strings,
you will dance like a
Sad sad clown,
Pins and needles,
Scrach maks on your skin,
Storms and uproars,
Whirlpool with enchors,
The horror in the mist.

Dress code in temples

Judge S. Vaidyanathan’s was concerned over improper clothes worn by many people during temple visits. So he said that from January 1, ‘men should wear a dhoti or pyjama with upper cloth or formal pants and shirts and women should wear a sari or a half-sari or churidhar with upper cloth,’ and for children, ‘any fully-covered dress.’
This order is supposed to be implemented in all temples coming under the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department until the State government takes a policy decision on the issue in order “to enhance the spiritual ambience."
Does that judge actually realise how stupid the idea is?, to be truthful I am happy he came up with the idea, this might actually cause less people to go to temples and more people to realise how conformist organised religions are, how they have always been just society's way of pressing their so called righteousness in to people using the fear in a god but this would not stop here, the so called cultural crusader will keep on implementing more and more closed minded laws without even realising culture changes with time, finally making the whole state inhabitable.

I mean what does "spritual experience" has got anything to do with dress code?, if a God does exist aren't all people equal before him or her?, is a tight leggings or a shorts going to prevent god from blessing his supposed children, does that mean everyone has to change in to dhoti or a chuddidar everytime they feel like praying?.
I understand this is strictly about maintaing the sacredness of  public worships, but how is a dress that is appropriate in buses, roads, hospitals and every other public place be not appropriate in a temple, where even physical forms are supposed to be considered meaningless?. The god is supposed to have created the body, how is that impure to him, clothes were created by men if "the god" does exist he would probably consider dresses to be impure.
Were all Saints, sadhus, well dressed?, they wore from little to no clothes, were they hindering the spritual ambiance of temples, was chuddidar and sarees, kurthas, always available for the men and women of the past, come on that could not have been possible at all. Blouses were not even invented till the 19 century!!, do you think they were fully covered, have anyone even seen how the women statues are dressed in temples, are they appropriately dressed to bring out your spritual ambiance?.
How are lungi and dhoti any different?,  how are chuddidar and leggins different, this dress code idea is discrimination, and a clear violation of human rights.
