These stone walls have held me,
A self made cage, my den,
Laboured years for my husband and kids,
With love but labored within my den,
As I hung these clothes to dry,
My mind seemingly wanders,
I can't take my eyes of the sea,
The sea,
I have always longed to be,
The Old wooden bridge that leads to thesalty blue spread,
The touch of the water on the naked spine,
And naughty little fishes nibble the feet,
Fleeing at the sound of the gulls they dread,
The clouds that keep changing shapes,
As the sun mercilessly throws it's heat,
Dodging waves in timely beats,
I don't know of any place I would be,
But I am caughtup in my den,
Labouring for love.
